registered Speedboat "Mer Ci" moored on the Sway Pontoon after being towed in by Lifeboat last evening. The boat with One person aboard was also towed to St Sampson's earlier yesterday afternoon by the Harbour Workboat Sarnia after one of their Crew spotted a Flare over Jethou. As they headed for the boat, the lone boatmen let off another one. The Sarnia towed it to St Sampson's. One of the Trawlers Crew had experienced Heart problems whilst the vessel was fishing about 20 miles northwest of Guernsey. St John Ambulance and Rescue personel headed out on the Lifeboat as the Flying Christine III is still out of action following the small Fire in its engine room last week. Very high praise to the Lifeboat crew was issued by the Captain of the Alva and the French Tug Abielle Liberty after the successful rescue which was performed in winds gusting 65 knots and horrendous sea conditions.
